Making a Difference Where it is Needed

Fort Foster Care Community Partner
Forsyth Foster Care Youth

The Fort Foster Care

The Fort is working to create a stable, healing home for Forsyth foster youth. Right now, most children in foster care are sent out of the county for placement, which often separates siblings and pulls them even farther from the community they know. The Fort is raising the funds needed to break ground on a local home that will keep kids closer to their support systems while providing safety, stability, and hope for their future. Their mission is deeply rooted in compassion, and every donation helps move this project from vision to reality.

Confident Threads

Confident Threads gives children in foster care the confidence that comes from having clothing that fits, feels good, and reflects who they are. Many children enter care with very few belongings, often without the basics needed for school or daily life. Confident Threads partners with local businesses, resale shops, charitable consignment events, and generous community members to provide high quality, functional clothing and shoes tailored to each child’s personal style. Every donation supports dignity, stability, and a fresh start. Requested donation items and guidelines can be found at the link provided.

The Place of Forsyth

The Place of Forsyth has been a trusted cornerstone in our community for decades, offering essential support to families facing tough times. Their food pantry reaches both local families and homebound seniors, their job assistance programs help people build stability, and their December Holiday House gives parents the dignity of choosing gifts for their children, which we are grateful to help sponsor this year. The Place continues to make a meaningful difference for neighbors of all ages, and they rely on community support to keep that mission going.

Lifewell Ministries is dedicated to helping individuals find healing, stability, and hope through accessible counseling services. Many in our community face emotional, relational, and financial challenges that make quality care difficult to afford. Lifewell is raising funds for its Counseling Scholarship Fund to ensure that anyone seeking support can receive it, regardless of their financial circumstances. Their work is rooted in compassion and a belief in the power of faith and connection, and every donation helps open the door to life-changing care for someone in need.
