Our Story
Meeks Impact Law was founded in early 2022 with one purpose: to help people rebuild their lives after serious injury. Centered on helping Georgians from the start, the firm grew from attorney Zach Meeks’ belief that personal injury law should be personal. ▸
We’ve built a firm that stays closely connected with our clients, combining the resources of an experienced legal team with the personal attention and accessibility of a boutique practice. By staying intentionally close-knit, we’re able to build real relationships and deliver the kind of detailed advocacy that leads to meaningful results.
Our team pairs legal strategy with medical insight, thanks in part to legal nurse consultant Melissa Meeks. Together, we fight for clients who have suffered immensely, standing beside them through every stage of recovery. What began as one lawyer’s calling to serve has grown into a team dedicated to creating lasting impact for our clients, our community, and our profession.

Zachary Meeks
Owner and Lead AttorneyZach's Bio
My passion lies in helping people who have been injured pursue the justice and compensation they deserve. Every client who walks through our doors is facing a difficult, often overwhelming situation, and I take pride in guiding them through the legal process with clarity, compassion, and steady advocacy. Just as important to me is empowering my team to do their best work, so we can deliver exceptional legal representation with a truly personal approach.
One of the most meaningful cases I have handled involved a client who suffered a devastating, life-altering injury in a car accident. She was facing more than $600,000 in medical bills, an impossible burden for anyone. While no settlement could undo what she endured, I fought to secure the strongest recovery possible and successfully negotiated her medical bills down to just seven percent of the total. Seeing her relief when she realized she could move forward without crushing debt reaffirmed why this work matters so deeply to me.
My approach to every case begins with listening. I want to understand my clients’ goals, concerns, and needs before building a strategy that truly serves their best interests. Advocacy is not just about fighting, it is about guiding people toward the best possible outcome with honesty, transparency, and care. That philosophy is at the heart of Meeks Impact Law. Client communication is not an afterthought for us, it is a core value. Too often, people feel left in the dark by their attorneys. We make it a priority to listen, explain, and stand alongside our clients at every stage of their case.
I am a native Georgian who grew up in Alpharetta and now lives in Suwanee. Being part of this community has shaped my understanding of its values and challenges, and I am proud to serve the people who call it home. Outside of work, I enjoy golf, college football and basketball, traveling with family and friends, and studying history. My personal motto, “A rising tide lifts all boats,” guides not only my legal practice, but also how I approach leadership, teamwork, and community involvement.
For me, being an attorney is more than a profession. It is a calling to serve others during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Personal injury law allows me to make a real, tangible difference when it matters most. I stay actively involved in the community through my church, The Vine Community Church, and by supporting local nonprofits. I am also a member of the Forsyth County Chamber, BNI I Gotta Guy in Gwinnett County, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and Windermere Golf Club. Through my work, both inside and outside the courtroom, I strive to continue making a meaningful impact for the people and communities we serve.
Melissa Meeks

With more than 15 years of experience as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department, I have dedicated my career to helping people during their most vulnerable moments. As a certified ER nurse and member of the Emergency Nurses Association, I have worked in fast-paced, high-stakes environments where accurate assessment and detailed documentation are essential. That background provides a strong foundation for my work as a legal nurse consultant, where I help bridge the gap between medicine and the law so complex medical issues are clearly understood in the pursuit of justice.
At Meeks Impact Law, I provide guidance on medical malpractice cases and other matters involving significant medical components. I understand firsthand how overwhelming medical situations can be for injury victims and their families. I take pride in using my clinical experience to support cases with thorough, accurate medical analysis and to help ensure each client’s story is fully and fairly represented. Working at the intersection of healthcare and the legal system allows me to continue making a meaningful impact while advocating for those who need it most.
Community and compassion are values that shape both my nursing career and my approach to legal consulting. Outside of work, I enjoy starting my mornings with a good cup of coffee, getting lost in a great book, practicing yoga, and spending time with my family on the lake.

As a litigation attorney at Meeks Impact Law, I am deeply committed to giving my clients peace of mind and treating every case with the same care and urgency I would give to a family member. Being injured and suddenly pulled into the legal system can feel overwhelming, confusing, and isolating. I understand how heavy that experience can be, and my goal is to ease that burden by making sure every client knows they are supported by a team that is fully invested in their future.
One of the most rewarding cases I have handled involved helping a trucking company owner fight for justice after his driver was wrongly blamed for a serious crash. He had worked tirelessly to build his business, and an unfair accusation threatened everything he had created. After closely examining the evidence, dash camera footage revealed the truth. Another driver had acted recklessly and caused the collision. Clearing his name was about far more than winning a case. It restored his peace of mind, protected his reputation, and safeguarded his livelihood. Seeing that relief reminded me why this work matters so much.
I approach every case with the golden rule in mind, treating clients the way I would want my own loved ones to be treated. That level of care and personal connection is what sets Meeks Impact Law apart. We are not a firm that sees people as case numbers. We listen, we care, and we fight for every client as if their case were our own.
I was born in Savannah, raised in Loganville, and now call Lawrenceville home. Growing up in the country instilled in me a deep respect for hard work, resilience, and integrity, values that guide me in my legal career every day. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling with my husband, shopping, and taking any opportunity I can to ride horses. My personal motto is simple: Today is the first day of the rest of your life, so live each day to the fullest.
Helping injury victims rebuild their lives is incredibly meaningful to me. After everything they have been through, they deserve someone firmly in their corner. While my current community involvement is primarily through donations, I am always open to new opportunities to give back and make a positive impact.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Alabama and my Juris Doctor from Mercer University School of Law. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending quality time with my girlfriend, cheering for Alabama football, playing golf, and hanging out with friends and family.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, earned cum laude from Georgia Gwinnett College, and bring a strong foundation in organization, strategy, and attention to detail to every case. I work closely with our attorneys and team to ensure each matter is thoroughly prepared and positioned for the best possible outcome.
Originally from Indiana, I have built my career here in Georgia and take pride in supporting a firm that fights for people who have been injured. The litigation process can be complex and demanding, but I enjoy the challenge of managing deadlines, documents, and details with precision and care. With more than 20 years of experience in the medical and personal injury fields, I have seen firsthand how overwhelming the recovery process can be. My goal is to ensure that every person who reaches out to our firm feels heard, supported, and guided toward the right resources for both their case and their healing.
My background includes experience in Orthopedics, Respiratory care, Neurosurgery, Neurology, and chiropractic settings, which has given me a strong understanding of the medical aspects of injury cases. I now use that experience to help strengthen relationships between healthcare providers and legal advocates, ensuring injury victims receive coordinated care and effective legal support. At Meeks Impact Law, we recognize that an injury impacts far more than physical health, and I am committed to helping people take informed, confident steps toward recovery and justice.
Born in Saigon, Vietnam, my family came to the United States as refugees when I was three years old, and I became a U.S. citizen in sixth grade. After spending time in Dayton, Ohio, I have lived in Georgia for nearly a decade, where I have built both my career and a strong sense of community. I enjoy bringing people together, whether through my work or by sharing good food, drinks, and meaningful conversation with friends.
